KIDS
I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.
3 JOHN 1:4
we believe kids can flourish in church
Elim Kids exists to empower and equip you to experience Jesus-centered whānau life on Sundays and beyond. We love to support and empower kids to be powerful disciples of Jesus at all stages and ages. Here are about programs:
Power Zone is a Sunday morning programme where primary age children can play games, have fun, make friends and have a great time learning about God and his message of truth and love for us.
Power Sparks is for under 5’s on Sunday mornings. This includes fun activities and a short bible lesson.
Your First Visit
Here’s what to expect when visiting Elim Kids for the first time:
First, when we arrive at the foyer locate our wonderful kids team in the bright red shirts. There we will meet your family, check your child into our system, give you a named sticker to place on your child, and then one of our team members will lead your child to their age-appropriate location.
Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone):
-
Parent/guardian name(s)
-
Child’s name
-
Child’s birthdate
-
Home address
-
Phone number
-
Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your children
Following Check-In
After you check-in for the first time, you will not have to go through the same process again. You will simply need to let the team know your child's name and get the sticker.
How Check-In Works
Before Service: We will check in your child at any available station. You and your child will be given matching name tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you hold on to the matching tag.
After Service: After the service is complete, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.
During Service: In the event that we need to contact you during the service, a team member will come up to you and ask for you to follow them to your child.
